Digital cameras have become a big part of a household way of capturing memories and, with these cameras, have come increasing demand for color ink jet cartridges. Ink ReStore remanufactures a large number of color ink jet cartridges and uses the best process currently available.
Most color ink jet cartridges contain a “sponge” like material that can sometimes, in spite of the best manufacturing processes, develop a “micro” bubble or vacuum. This “bubble” can cause ink not to flow through the print head. While infrequent, it can happen and a user needs to understand that it can also occur with new OEM cartridges as well.
Another characteristic of color cartridges is there are usually 3 colors in the cartridge. Often a print job will require a substantially larger amount of one color of ink resulting in that section of the cartridge going “dry.” This may appear to be a bubble but the cartridge is simply empty. We can help you determine which is the cause. However, we cannot refill only one chamber of a cartridge. If you are uncertain as to the problem, simply contact one of our stores for advice.
Ink ReStore believes the savings from using remanufactured color cartridges significantly outweigh the rare instances where the cartridge develops a “bubble”. If a cartridge remanufactured by Ink ReStore fails to perform, you are protected by our no hassle guarantee. We will either replace the cartridge or remove the bubble using our state of the art equipment.
